5K Race

The 5K event kicks off the festival at 9:00 am and takes runners/walkers through the scenic roads of our beautiful town. As runners cruise down Main Street towards the finish line they’ll get a first-hand look at the festivities to come.

Parade of Princesses & Princes

Kids, join the Cracker Queen in your princess or prince costume for a procession into the festival!

Live Music

Every year the Cracker Festival features a line-up of amazing area musicians. We’re excited to announce that the 2023 lineup includes: The Tribe, Tsunami of Sound, Mr. Strickland featuring Kris Lucander, and Blue Matter
Family Area

Many child-centered activities are available for children including face painting, a large sandbox with sand toys, a bounce house as well as other games suitable for young children.

Every year the festival is the third Saturday in October.

Festival Day 2024 is Saturday, October 19th, 10AM - 5PM.
There is no rain date, the festival goes on rain or shine.
The Cracker Festival is hosted in Westminster, Massachusetts and is located in the center of town.

There are several, free parking areas available, including handicap parking. Please look for parking signs as you enter town.
There is also a free shuttle that visits each parking area and brings attendees to the Square. Keep an eye out for shuttle signs, too!
Yes, there are bathrooms! There are porta-potties (including handicap accessible) and hand washing stations on the Festival grounds.
Yes! Be sure to check out the all the children’s activities at the Festival.
Yes! The Cracker Festival is ADA compliant.
