The Westminster Village Foundation provides grants and other funding to local projects that improve the community in and around Westminster.  We believe the vitality of a community is built on the foundation of a vibrant downtown where residents come together to interact and trade locally.  Our main fundraising activity is the Westminster Cracker Festival.  Westminster Cracker Festival is an annual event designed to attract visitors to discover and experience our beautiful town.  All proceeds from the Westminster Cracker Festival benefit the Westminster Village Foundation and will be used for the benefit of the local community.

This Welcome to Westminster Sign was created and funded by the Westminster Village Foundation and replaces a 20 years old sign that was at the same location, at the intersection of Route 2A/140 at the entrance to Westminster, off Exit 25, including arrangements for annual care and landscaping of the sign by J. Martin Landscaping.

Landscaped islands at the east and west ends of the town center.

In 2017, the town center HOLIDAY lights will illuminate the roof lines of town center businesses.

In the Spring of 2018, we will fund a college scholarship for a lucky Oakmont High School student.

The Foundation will continue to fund projects like this to better serve our community and improve our Town.
